Lauren is our Patient of the Month
Lauren has done an outstanding job wearing rubber
bands and her keeps her teeth and gums remarkably clean. She has upper and lower braces and also had an expander.
She attends Plainfield North High School and will be a lifeguard at Springbrook Pool this summer. Lauren received at gift certificate for outstanding effort.

In May 2008 Dr. Moravec and most of his staff attended the American of Association of Orthodontists annual convention in Denver. We attended lectures on the most updated orthodontic techiques including: 1) Invisalign treatment, 2) SureSmile enhancements, 3) Computer security, 4) Using the web to decrease paper waste, 5) Bonding techniques
In March 2008 Dr. Moravec and five of his team members (Susi, Berna, Nicole, Stephanie and Nina) attended an advanced Invisalign seminar. Invisalign treatment has been refined and is an option for more and more patients. In November 2007 Dr. Moravec attended a continuing education class in Atlanta on the use of lasers in dental and orthodontic treatment.
In December 2007 Dr. Moravec received training in the placement and treatment uses of Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs). TADs are very small screws placed in the gums and bone to aid tooth movement in some very difficult orthodontic procedures.
